Taking care of the environment is also high on our agenda. Kasbah Tamadot is committed to sustainable development of the local tourism industry and we recognise our responsibility towards the environment and the local community. Some of our ambitions and initiatives include:
- Recruit locally where we can, and train staff in all aspects of the operation, including instruction in English and French
- Continually support the local community through projects initiated by Kasbah Tamadot and other charitable projects such as the Eve Branson foundation and Virgin Unite
- Identifying new methods for waste disposal, recycling, energy saving and other environmental initiatives
We know that some changes can be made immediately and others may take some time, however we believe these are the areas where we can make our business both more sustainable and kinder to the environment.
